Trivia Net

N9LKH repeater Tuesday Trivia Net

We use to do the Handshaker net on the Western reflector with check-ins from all over the U.S. KB9SXH John was a co-founder. The net went two hours and it seemed we were just listening to all the other stations check-in.

John thought the repeater would be better served if we just did a net on our own. Now the net goes 30 minutes, but everyone who checks in you probably know. We started the net on August 25, 2009 and it is still going.

Now we do the Trivia net. The net starts at 7pm local time every Tuesday night. We also link up with IRLP node 9627 and the W4DOC repeater in Atlanta, Ga. Everyone is invited to listen, and licensed Amateur Radio Operators, Technician Class or higher, are encouraged to check in to this net. Check-ins are logged in by call sign, and then we read the question and give everyone a chance to answer in turn. KB9SXH is the net manager and usually is the net control. John is always looking for new net controls and trivia questions with answers. You can submit them to him at his e-mail address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
